A local woman has expressed her gratitude to three men who came to her assistance on the Main Road in Tipperary Town at around 8.40pm on Saturday night.

It comes after a local mother described a terrifying experience after being approached by a "drunk man" while sitting in her car with her two children in Tipperary Town on Saturday night also.
In the latest incident, the woman said she had been followed and harassed by a "drunk man" who shoved her into a shop wall.

The same man had earlier been harassing another young woman, who managed to run away before he set his sights on her, the post on the Tipp Town community page claims.
The woman described the incident as "really scary" and said she was relieved when the three men immediately stepped in to help her.

"I just want to say a massive thank you," she said. "You didn't hesitate to step in and make sure I was okay, and I'm so, so grateful.
"I don't know who you are, but if this somehow reaches you – thank you from the bottom of my heart. You honestly turned a horrible situation around."
