The death has occurred of Christopher (Christy) Phelan, Ard na Gréine, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Christy passed away peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital on Tuesday afternoon surrounded by his loving family. Last of the Phelan family of Ard na Gréine, Clonmel he is predeceased by his parents, brothers, sisters, son-in-law Peter and daughter-in-law Carolyne. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters Margaret, Celina and Roseanne, sons Bernard, Malcolm and Dermot, grandchildren Shannon, Amy, Darragh, Don, Aaron, Derry, Ryan, Rihanna, Tristan, Béibhínn, Keelan and Saorla, great-grandchildren Sonny and Sofia, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and his many friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Thursday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Friday morning to St Oliver’s Church. Funeral Mass on arrival at 12 noon. Those who cannot attend can watch live (live stream link details to follow). Burial will take place afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Friends of Tipperary University Hospital.

Thomas Joseph (Tom) Meagher, late of Deansgrange, Co. Dublin and formerly of Templemore, Co. Tipperary, passed away peacefully on 8th May, 2023, after a short illness, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of Úna, best Dad in the world of Gráinne and Naoise, cherished Grandad of Sarah and Daniel, much loved brother of Angela, Annette, Fr. Brendan and the late Paddy, Ned, Kathleen, Maura, Raymond and Aidan, lovingly remembered by his sons-in-law Eoin and Liam, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Peacefully after a short illness, in the care of the staff of University Hospital Croydon. Predeceased by his parents Andy and Mary, brother Andrew (Andy).
