The death has occurred of Mary Mitten late of Marian Avenue Carrick-on-suir died in her 81st year peacefully at Waterford University Hospital on the 19th February 2025.
Mary will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, Carer Caroline, friend Lynn and all the Volunteers from Carrick-on-Suir Meals assistance, relatives and friends.
Mary will arrive at St Nicholas' Church, Carrick-on-Suir on Monday the 24th February for requiem mass at 10.30am followed by burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery.

Michael (former teacher at St. Kieran's College) passed away on 19th February 2025, peacefully, at home. Beloved husband of Anne and much loved father of Donagh, Tomás, Aideen and Caitríona. Michael will be dearly missed by his wife and family, daughter-in-law Pauline, son-in-law Ultan, grandchildren Michael, Dylan, Aishling, Cian, Isabelle, Tara and Marianne, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, friends and former work colleagues at St. Kieran's.
Michael is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary, brothers Martin and Bill and sister Mary.

Reposing at his home in College Gardens (R95RF8Y) on Friday (21st Feb) from 3pm to 8pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday afternoon at 2pm in St. Patrick's Church, Kilkenny (R95 VX96). Funeral afterwards to Foulkstown Cemetery, Waterford Road, Kilkenny.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Reidy (née McGrath), Ashfield, Raheen, Limerick and late of Main Street, Emly, Co. Tipperary, and England, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, 20th February 2025, in the loving care of Roseville House Nursing Home, Ballysimon, Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her husband Michael, parents John and Margaret, brothers Pat and Larry, sisters Peggy and Kitty.
Much loved mother of John, Paul and Chriss. Edward Patrick Sweeney
On the 17th February 2025, suddenly at his home, Edward (Ed), son of the late Edward Patrick Sweeney (Templemore, Co. Tipperary) and Emily Sweeney (née Thursby, Liverpool UK.) died peacefully aged 90 years. Former miner (Hilton Main Colliery UK), Schoolmaster (Bluecoat C of E school, Dudley UK) and Company Director of EPS Construction (Northern) Ltd, and latterly retired in Ireland since 2003.
Beloved husband of Eileen (née Lewis) and a well regarded and loved Brother in Law of Patricia Hall and Lynn Lewis UK and late Brother in Law Michael. Uncle to Julie, Joanne and Michael, Great Uncle to Bradley, Hannah, Theo and George, and Great great uncle to Rosa (all UK). A loyal and true friend to many, he will be sadly missed and fondly remembered with great affection for his kind, gentle and modest manner and great sense of fun and generosity.
Sincerest thanks to The HSE Home Help, Public Nursing, and the Medical and Day Care Centre teams plus Drinagh Pharmacy staff in Bantry for their excellent and kind support which allowed Ed to be cared for at home these past five years. Also sincere thanks to the Ambulance, Garda and Medical Team who attended Ed at his passing.

Predeceased by his parents Ellen and William, brothers Joe, Eddie and John and his sisters Maura and Catherine.
Dearly loved and sadly missed by his nieces and nephews; Karina, Michael, Emma, Willie, Miriam, Jim, Mark, Liz and Con and their families, sister-in-law Christine, his cousin Fr. Laurence OCSO, Bishop Fintan Monahan and the clergy, religious and laity of the diocese of Killaloe and his wide circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements: Bishop Willie will lie in repose in SS Peter and Paul Cathedral, Ennis, Co. Clare, on Sunday (23rd February) from 3 pm with evening prayer at 7 pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Monday (24th February) at 1 pm. Burial afterwards in the church grounds.
