Predeceased by his parents Josephine & Jer, and deceased brothers and sisters.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Teresa, his daughters Jo (Gleeson) & Catherine (Shanahan), his sons Richard, Eamon, Andrew, Anthony, James & Robert, Grandchildren & Great- Grandchildren, Sons in Law & Daughters in Law, Brothers Jim & Joe, Sisters Ann, Teresa and Bernie, Nieces, Nephews, relatives, neighbours & Friends.

Reposing at Ryans Funeral Home, Nenagh (E45 KN93) this Wednesday from 5 o'c to 7 o'c. His remains will arrive at St. Mary's Church, Portroe on Thursday 3rd April for Requiem Mass at 12 o'c. Livestream can be viewed in the link below. Followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Gerard (Gerry) Ryan, “Bellvue”, Coole, Newport, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Old Pallas, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick, former employee of Limerick Prison and member of Nenagh Golf Club. 1st April 2025 peacefully in the loving care of U.H.L surrounded by his loving family following an illness bravely fought. Sadly missed by his loving wife Isabelle, son Graham, daughter Aoife, daughter in law Linda and son in law Seamus, grandchildren Callum, Jayden, Joshua, Ollie, and Evie, aunt Mary in Melbourne, extended family, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home Newport on Thursday 3rd. April from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m. with removal to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer Newport. And formerly of Backfox, Claremorris, Co. Mayo. Peacefully in Milford Hospice, Castletroy, Limerick after a short illness. Predeceased by her parents James and Annie Barnicle and brother Denis. It is with immense sadness that we announce the unexpected and sudden passing of Maria in the Netherlands on December 1st, 2024. Daughter of the late Andy Byrne, Main Street, Rathangan, she will be very sadly missed by her loving mother Anna (nee McGrath, formerly of Bengurragh, Cahir), sister Bernadette, brother-in-law Michel, nephews and nieces, Olivier, Raphaël, Pierre, Marie and Loan, grand nephews, aunt, uncle, cousins and many friends.

 

The interment of Maria’s ashes will take place after 11am Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Cahir

on Saturday April 5th in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Maria’s beautiful spirit and generous heart will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Thomas J (TJ) Caplis (Glenpadden, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary) March 31st 2025, peacefully in the presence of his family at Tipperary University Hospital.

 

Predeceased by his parents James and Johanna and his sisters Maureen, Celia and Pauline.

 

Deeply and deservedly regretted by his loving wife and best friend Betty, daughters Maureen (Browne) and Michelle, son Jim, daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law Kevin, his adored grandchildren Maebh, Eilís, Moira and Caoimhe, sister Joan Ryan V, Tipperary Town, brothers Ailbe and Gerard, sisters-in-law Frances and Gerard’s partner Maura, brother-in-law Jack, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and many friends.
