The Sudden death has occurred of the late Victor Childs Castle Park, Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary.

Victor, passed suddenly on the 8th of December, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents and his brother Johnny and sister Christine.

Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Bernadette, his children Suzanne and Jacqui, sons in-law Brian and Keith, his four adored grandchildren, Kieran, Daniel, Jason, Callum. His brother Ken, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends

Victor will be arriving at St.Molleran's Church Carrick Beg on Friday the 12th December, for Requiem Mass on arrival at 11am followed by Private cremation in The Island Crematorium Cork at 2pm.

Jim Collins

In his 92nd year. Peacefully after a short illness. In the wonderful care of the staff of Padre Pio, Nursing Home, Holycross. Predeceased by his wife Mary (née Higgins), brother John and sister Mary (Shanahan). Deeply regretted by his loving family, nieces Nuala (O'Donovan, Kilteely, Co Limerick) and Ann (McCann, Stillorgan, Dublin), nephews Tommy, Jimmy and Johnny (Thurles) and the Shanahan family (London).

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Wednesday 10th December from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Church of St. Joseph and St. Brigid, Bothar na Naomh, Thurles at 7.45pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday 11th December at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's cemetery, Thurles.

Colm Fennessy

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colm Fennessy, Pearse Park, Clonmel, Co.Tipperary. Colm passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home on Saturday 6th December 2025. Predeceased by his parents George and Ellen (Nell), and recently his brothers George, Peter, and also his brother-in-law Jim Ruth. Sadly missed by his loving twin sisters Geraldine and Colette, brother-in-law Teddy, sister-in-law Rena, never to be forgotten and loved so much by his heartbroken nieces Elaine, Pamela, Clodagh, Andrea, Gillian, Jayne and Sheena, his nephew Keith, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, his many many friends in music and theater, colleagues and wonderful neighbours.

The death has occurred of Anne Gilmartin (Nee Egan) Loughane Lower Templederry Nenagh & late of Monanore Toomevara. Peacefully, surrounded by her family in the tender care of the staff at Ashlawn Nursing Home Nenagh on Dec 8th 2025. Predeceased by her beloved husband Martin, parents Tom & Mary Egan and brothers Pat & Ger.


Nan will be sadly missed by her loving family Denis, Ellen, Thomas, Martin & Catherine. Grandchildren & great-grandson, sisters, brothers, sons in law Albert & Darren, daughter in law Emma, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Church of the Immaculate Conception Templederry this Wednesday from 4 o'c to 6.30 o'c. Her Requiem mass takes place on Thursday at 11 o clock followed by burial in Templederry New Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Áine Hassett, Moneygall, Birr, Co Offaly. Peacefully, at her residence. Predeceased by her husband Matt, sister Breda and brother Billy.
Deeply regretted by her loving son John, her brother Philip, sister Ella, sister-in-law Eileen, brother-in-law Joe, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Gerry Healy, No 2 Rivercourt, Mullinahone, and formerly of Foyle, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co Tipperary, peacefully at University Hospital Clonmel.

 

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, his brothers Phil and Patrick and his sisters Cathy, Mary, Anne and Bridget.

 

Deeply regretted by his partner Breda, his sister Bernie, his brothers Bob, John and Albert, brother-in-law George, sisters-in-law Val and Mary, nieces, nephews, Breda's children Sean and Cliona, his extended family, neighbours and friends

The death has occurred of Timmy Horrigan Islandbawn Nenagh & late of Knockalton. Suddenly and peacefully at home on 7th Dec 2025. Predeceased by his beloved parents Rody & Elizabeth and his brothers Jim & Rodger.

Beloved husband of the late Pat and dearly loved father of Martin, Marianne, Helen, Audrey and Alan. David Larkin, Lougheen, Carrig, Birr, Co. Tipperary, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on the 6th of December 2025. Predeceased by his father Bernie, brothers, Raymond and Derek. David will be sadly missed by his mother Carmel, brothers, Gary, Bernard, Jason, Stephen, Damien, sisters, Caroline and Lisa, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbours, friends and especially all his friends from Portlaoise.

Reposing on Monday at his family home (R42R260) from 5 pm to 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to The Church of the Annunciation, Carrig arriving at 10:45 a.m for funeral mass at 11 am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

David’s family would like to thank the staff at Portlaoise, Beaumont and Tullamore who showed great kindness to David throughout the year.

The death has occurred of Agnes Ryan (Cooper) nee Sammon of Annaholty, Birdhill, Co Tipperary peacefully in the gentle care of Roseville Nursing Home, Ballysimon, Limerick on the 6th December 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

 

Predeceased by her devoted husband Mick Ryan (Cooper), her parents Paddy and Ellen, her sisters Tessie, Mary, Noreen and her brother Joe.

 

Deeply regretted by her nieces and nephews (Murphy & Keane Families) her sisters-in-law Chrissie Finnerty and Maura Ryan and the extended Ryan (Cooper), Collins and Finnerty families and her friends and neighbours.

Predeceased by her parents Billy & Maureen and her sister Catherine.

Sadly missed and forever loved by her husband Jim, beloved mother of Cian, Oran, Oisin, Conal, Enya and Olan, sister of Thomas, Ollie, Maura and Valerie, aunts Cajetan Butler, Ursula Sheanon and Geraldine Sweeney, nephews, nieces, relatives and her many friends.

Mary Woodlock (Née Murray), Rathdrum, Fethard, Co Tipperary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday December 6th 2025. Deeply mourned by her loving husband Pat, her children John, Helaine, Paul and Keith, her sister Margaret, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Rachel, Natalie and Kate, her cherished grandchildren Conor, Jack, Yasmin and James and by her extended family of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in McCarthy's Funeral Home, Fethard, on Monday December 8th from 5.30pm with removal to the Holy Trinity Parish Church at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday December 9th at 11.00am followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
