Formerly of Turraheen, Rossmore Co Tipperary on the 8 January 2026, peacefully in the gentle care of the staff in Slievenamon unit of Tipperary General Hospital Clonmel, following 2 years of excellent care and attention from Woodlands Nursing staff in Dundrum. Predeceased by her husband Thady (Timothy), parents Josie and Patrick, infant son Peter, daughter Josie, sister Peggy, late brother Jimmy and her grandchild Sinead. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Mary and Julie, sons Mick, Pat, Eoin (Eugene) and Conor, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother Timothy, sisters-in-law Mary and Josephine, nieces, nephews, relatives,neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Hayes Funeral Chapel Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary on Saturday evening (10th January) from 6 pm with removal at 8pm to the Church of Jesus Christ our Saviour Rossmore. Requiem mass on Sunday morning at 11.30am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Jennifer Arrigan-Sheridan

Jennifer Arrigan-Sheridan Fr. Mathew Terrace, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday 6th January 2026. Predeceased her father Michael and brother Tony. Sadly missed by her loving sons Eoin, Emmet, Garrett and their father John, grandchild Hanna, Mother Philomena, brother Michael, sister Catherine, sister in law Pam, brother in Law Pog, nephews, nieces relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home The Glebe Old Bridge, Clonmel (E91KT62) on Sunday evening from 3pm to 5pm. Requiem Mass at 1pm on Monday in S.S. Peter and Paul’s Church followed by Private Cremation.

January 7th 2026 peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his sister Bridget.

 

Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife Bridget (nee Hayes), sister Ena, brothers-in law, sisters-in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing on Friday January 9th at St Peter and Paul’s Church, Crecora from 6 pm to 7 pm.

Remains arriving on Saturday morning January 10th for 12 Noon Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Removal on Sunday afternoon at 12.30pm arriving in St. Cronan's Church, Roscrea for Funeral Mass at 1.00pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining new cemetery. Eliza Williams
(née Ryan-Purcell)

Eliza Williams (Ryan-Purcell), of Reardnogy Beg, Rearcross, Newport Co. Tipperary has passed away in the presence of her family after a short but acute battle with her illness which she faced with familiarity, strength and acceptance. 8th January 2026. Predeceased by her husband Peter, survived by her children Angela (Tom), Raymond (Silvia), Harry (Ciara) and Alistair, grandchildren Eleanor and Luna. Siblings, Oliver, Charles, Anita, Walter, and Hilda, sisters in law, Gerardine, Caroline and Clair, nephews, nieces, friends and the faith and light community.

 

Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home Newport, Co Tipperary V94 A9Y5 on Friday 9th January, from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with removal to The Church of the Visitation, Rearcross afterwards. Requiem Mass Saturday 10th January at 10.30 a.m. Eliza will then travel to the Church of Immaculate Conception, Terryglass, Nenagh Co. Tipperary E45 VP95 to be laid to rest beside her husband, Peter.

 

John Woods

Woods, John, native of Bushfield, who died in Chicago on the 6th January 2026, after a short illness.

Deeply missed by his wife Katherine (nee Cleary), his sons Dan Woods and his wife Kerry, John Woods and his wife Joy, his daughter Ann and son in law Jerry Langan and children, his sister Mary (Murphy) and her husband Donal Murphy, his brother Fr. Dan Woods A.P. Kilcommon, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

John's Funeral Mass will take place in Chicago on Monday at 6.30pm (Irish Time).
