LATEST: Significant new Tipperary equestrian facility given planning approval

The application, submitted by Forge Stud, was granted full planning permission on April 16.

A significant new equestrian facility has been approved for development in Corbally, Clonoulty, following a recent planning decision by Tipperary County Council.

The application, submitted by Forge Stud, was granted full planning permission on April 16.

The development will see the construction of a large-scale indoor equestrian arena covering over 2,300 square metres, alongside a range of supporting structures and site works.

The approved plans include: a 2,349m² indoor equestrian arena, a 521m² stable block, a 139m² machinery and open pen shed, a 139m² plant and storage shed, a 29m² scanning shed, a 2,400m² outdoor sand arena and associated site works.

The council attached seven conditions to its decision.
