'People can't get to see a doctor or a dentist,' says Tipperary General Election candidate

From Nenagh across to Urlingford, Dan says the voters have expressed the need for change in Ireland.

As the election countdown draws closer Sinn Féin Tipperary North candidate Dan Harty from Ballyvoneen, Holycross is enjoying meeting the people.

“The two big issues people are bringing up are the housing problems and in particular the health care problems with hospital overcrowding and our local facilities being downgraded.

“We need top-class health services in Nenagh, Thurles and into Kilkenny because the current situation and how things are organised is putting lives at risk every day.

“People in the neighbourhoods are saying that things are getting worse in terms of healthcare.

“They can’t get to see a doctor or a dentist, they are on longer and longer waiting lists to see consultants in hospitals so like so many other areas things simply need to change,” he says.
