Fundraiser in aid of the Dillon Quirke Foundation
In a Student Enterprise generated from the recent Christmas market creativity in the Coláiste Dún Iascaigh, a student product has been adapted as a car air freshener that has become a fundraiser for The Dillon Quirke Foundation.
The foundation was set up by the Quirke family to honour their son Dillon who collapsed and died of SADS on August 5, 2022 in Semple Stadium, Thurles.
The foundation aims to create awareness and save lives by screening every GAA player both male and female.
The product is available to buy and hang on your car mirror; it can be purchased from local shops in the area: One 19 Templemore, Moran’s Menswear, Town House Deli Thurles/Clonmel & Tipperary Town, Lava Brew Cahir, Maher’s Service Station Clonmel and all local shops in Clonoulty and Rossmore.
Special thanks to the first year students and staff of Coláiste Dún Iascaigh Cahir, Mnts Signage Ltd, Ronayne’s Plant & Tool Hire, Stakelum’s Office Supplies and Perfect-32. Follow them on Instagram:ard_foireann.
