Emma Murray
Huge congratulations to Emma Murray, class of 2022, who was awarded the Quercus Entrance Scholarship from the President of UCC at a ceremony held in Devere Hall, UCC, on Thursday last.
This scholarship is awarded to first-year students who receive 625 Leaving Cert points. Emma, who is currently studying Medicine at UCC, will now hold the title of Quercus Scholar for the year.
Well done to Emma, who, during her time in Presentation Ballingarry, excelled not only in the academic arena but also as an athlete. Emma was also a proud recipient of the John Paul 11 Award, in acknowledgement of her commitment to her parish and to volunteering as a coach. We wish Emma continued success.
