Refugee Update from Littleton

On Friday, February 10, a new group of 40 Ukrainian refugees arrived at the Community and Sport's Centre on Ballybeg Road in Littleton.

Eleven of the group are under 18.

Bicycles have been repaired to provide them with some leisure activity.

They quickly become involved in cleaning and cooking and on Sunday last a beautiful mid-day meal was prepared under the care and supervision of local cook Majella Kerwick Tobin.

Villagers are requested to continue greeting and meeting and make them welcome before they move on to more permanent accommodation.
