Players to watch in this year's club hurling championship who could make Tipp step up

6. Eddie Ryan (Borris-Ileigh)

The standout player for the Tipperary U20s this year, he has continued that trajectory with two fine performances for Borris-Ileigh in the North championship.

For such a young and somewhat diminutive player, he has taken on the scoring burden for his club with great maturity, racking up some serious totals from frees and from play.

His pace and agility on the ball is incredible, and add to that his finishing ability and placed ball prowess, he is a player who will be involved with Tipperary very soon.

Probably the only thing against him is his lack of size, but now is the time to get him into the panel and get the S&C onboard, as he has the raw materials to be a very good player in the years to come.
