Players to watch in this year's club hurling championship who could make Tipp step up

7. Peter McGarry (St Marys)

A player who disappointed largely in his performances at U20 level for Tipperary this year, but still has the qualities to make the step up.

Pace is his weapon and if the right coaching can be given to the Clonmel man, there is great potential for McGarry to be a quality intercounty forward. A big year for St Marys will surely see him involved, but he will need to deliver in the big games this summer and autumn.
