Traffic management measures to operate for over a month on a Tipperary road with three schools

The Pill Road in Carrick-on-Suir will be reduced to single lane traffic to facilitate road pavement works.

Temporary traffic management measures will operate daily on the N24 Pill Road in Carrick-on-Suir from next Monday, August 21 to Friday, September 29 to facilitate pavement road works.

There will be single lane traffic with temporary traffic lights in place along the Pill Road to facilitate the works taking place adjacent to the town's three secondary school entrances.

Edmund Rice Secondary School, Scoil Mhuire Secondary School and Comeragh College Community School will all be reopening at the end of August after the summer break

The pavement works are being carried out as part of the revamp of 3.8km of the N24 in Carrick-on-Suir that began a year ago.
