Some great news coming out of West Tipperary this week with the reopening of the famous Jimmy White’s Pub in Bohertrime, Donohil.
The pub has been taken over by Ultan and Claireanne Moran.
Ultan, who is originally from Kilkenny and Claireanne from Limerick, has recently purchased a house in Tipperary Town and have decided to take over the running of Jimmy White’s Pub too.
Both have a lot of experience in the hospitality sector, with Claireanne being a supervisor in Smyth’s Bar and the Icon in Limerick.
Ultan is also now playing for local rugby club, Clanwilliam FC.
The couple are really excited with their new venture and they are looking forward to welcoming new and old customers alike back to Jimmy White’s.
They are going to spend an initial period settling into their new establishment, but they hope to have live music, pool tournaments and to support all local clubs in the area over time.
They are now taking bookings for all types of parties and family occasions.
You can find them on Facebook to keep up-to-date with all the latest events and developments.
They are open from 5pm every evening except Tuesday, when they are closed. They are open from 12 noon on a Saturday and Sunday.
They will serve a wide variety of your favourite drinks including beers, stouts, wines, teas and coffees.
With its very spacious interior, Jimmy Whites is an ideal location for a drink, a chat or to hold an event.
The very best wishes to Ultan and Clareanne for the future of their new business venture.
