8. Stephen Cahill (Thurles Sarsfields)
While he will be disappointed with his performance in the replayed final, prior to that Cahill was one of the most impressive midfielders on show this championship. He was the key cog in terms of setting up attacks; the foil between attack and defence and his scoring contributions were huge in their run. As classy a stickman as there is in Tipperary club hurling.
