I'm very sorry to learn of Donagh's passing. He was a good friend to me when I lived in Dublin. My deepest sympathies to June, Billy, Michael and Thomas, and to Liam. May Donagh's gentlest of souls rest in peace.

I am very sorry to learn of Donagh's death. My sympathies on behalf of all the Mc Graths of The Park, Ballingarry, to Donagh's immediate family and to Liam. I knew Donagh from the Presentation Secondary School in Ballingarry and from sharing a house with others at UCD. We often played soccer together. His early death reminds us of the fragility of life. I lit a candle today in his memory in Valencia Cathedral. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.

I first knew Donagh from the Ballingarry school bus where we often shared a seat and chat. Later we migrated to UCD and shared accommodation in Dublin and our friendship continued. He was invariably agreeable, placid and good humoured. My sympathies to June, Liam and family. May Donagh rest in peace.

Sincere sympathy to June,Billy,Michael,Thomas, Liam, Mally and all of Donaghs family and friends on his untimely passing .
He was one genuine lovely and courageous man.
We struck up a friendship on our first day in secondary school when we sat opposite each other discussing the merits of Chelsea and Leeds Utd.
Little did we realise back then that we were actually related to each other.
It was a wonderful surprise to discover a few years ago that our Grandfathers were cousins and great friends.
Donagh had a beaming smile, a gentle way, a sharp intellect and a mischievious sense of humour. He also had a deadly left foot that scored many a goal during our lunchtime games on the Ballingarry tarmac.
Rest easy Donagh, I will treasure the memory of knowing you

We were very sad to hear of Donagh’s death following a long illness bravely borne. Sincere sympathies to all the extended Noonan family; particularly wife June, sons Billy, Michael and Thomas- and his loving brother: Liam and sister-in-law Mally, Donagh’s last remaining close family at his first home in New Hall, Grange.

In addition to Donagh’s passing, it has been a tough year for the family, with the passing also of their Uncle Bill Noonan and Revd. Fr. Denis Talbot over the last 12 months. Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.

May Donagh rest in peace- and may his family take some comfort of a life cut too short, but well lived.

So sorry to hear of Donagh's passing. Truly a gentleman and a scholar in all his dealings with the public and with his colleagues during his years in Dublin City Libraries. Sincere condolences to June and his family during this very sad time.
