Fennessy’s Hotel in Gladstone Street, Clonmel
Fennessys Hotel in Clonmel is up for sale, with a guide price of €950,000.
The landmark and historic building in Gladstone Street, which has been operated successfully as a hotel for many years by husband and wife Richard and Esther Fennessy, has been brought to the market by PF Quirke & Co Ltd.
The long-established hotel is located “in a beautiful Georgian building, which has been excellently restored and refurbished”.
The property was originally known as Larkins Hotel and was built in 1815.
The hotel includes a large bar and lounge with smoking area, a full kitchen and dining room, a beer garden, laundry, ten commercial bedrooms (all en-suite) and a two-bedroom apartment.
Also included in the sale package is an adjacent building known as O’Briens, which it’s stated could be converted into more rooms.
“This hotel has traded exceptionally well for many years and is a landmark property in the town centre. It is now ready for a new owner to take over and bring it forward for the next generation,” say PF Quirke’s.
