Tipperary Council intends to close Clonmel street for nearly two months this summer

The Council proposes closing the L-3613 Cantwell Street to facilitate construction of a Safe Routes to School project

Tipperary County Council has given notice of its intention to temporarily close a Clonmel street for nearly two months this summer to facilitate the construction of a Safe Routes to School project on the street.

The council proposes closing the L-3613 Cantwell Street, Clonmel from midnight on Monday, July 1 to midnight on Wednesday, August 28.

It's proposed that during the closure traffic will be diverted via Irishtown Upper - R-884, Connolly Park – L3614, Western Road – R-707 or via Abbey Road - R-884, St Stephens place – L3615, Western Road – R-707.

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh not later than 12 noon on Thursday, May 30 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
