BREAKING: Three candidates elected in Thurles Local Electoral Area after first count

Jim Ryan, Independent, has topped the poll and been elected in the Thurles Local Electoral Area on the first count, followed also by Micheál Lowry, of Team Lowry, and Sean Ryan, of Fianna Fáil.

Three candidates remain in the count, looking to win the final two seats: Kay Cahill Skehan, Fianna Fáil, Peggy Ryan, Fine Gael, and Dan Harty, Sinn Féin.
