Professor will give first hand account of working in Gaza at event in Tipperary

Irish healthcare workers for Palestine and IPSC (Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign) South East are delighted to welcome Professor Nick Maynard to Hotel Minella, Clonmel, on Thursday, September 26 at 7.30 to hear his first hand account of working in Gaza for over 10 years up until his last mission in May 2024.
Professor Maynard, a leading Oxford-based gastrointestinal surgeon, has been travelling to Gaza for more than a decade providing surgical training and education to the medical students and surgical staff in Al Aqsa and Al Shifa hospitals.
All are welcome to attend this free event.
Tickets are donation-based and walk-ins can be accommodated on the night.
