Presentation Secondary School in Thurles have won the local derby game played in front of a bumper crowd at the Camogie Grounds in The Ragg this afternoon.
'The Pres' in Thurles took on neighbours the Ursuline Secondary School, who have been winning the Post Primary Schools Munster A Camogie Championship in recent seasons.
The underdogs, who lost out last year, turned the tables on the reigning champions. The Ursuline led at half time on an 0-7 to 1-3 scoreline but the Pres took the game to them in the second half and finished powerfully.
They beat Ursuline this time around by four points in the end with a strong finish enough to cap the win amid great celebrations from supporters.
