An armed raider wearing a balaclava and wielding a knife stole a small sum of money from a shop in Tipperary last night.
The robbery happened at the Centra store in Clerihan, a few miles from Clonmel.
The incident happened at approximately 7pm.
The raider, who was on his own, ran behind the shop counter and stole the money from the till before making his escape on foot.
The staff were reported to be shaken following the robbery, but were otherwise uninjured.
