Figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show that 447 new EVs were registered in the county by the end of November. This is a sharp increase from the 212 recorded during the same period last year.

Overall demand for new cars in Tipperary has also strengthened. A total of 3,077 registrations were issued between January and November, a rise of 6 percent.
