Hurling supporters are being invited to look ahead to the 2026 championship season at a special preview event taking place in Cahir later this month.

Irwin’s Yard, in association with Cahir GAA, will host a Hurling Championship Preview Night on Friday 20 February, bringing together a panel of some of the most recognisable figures in the modern game.

The evening is set to feature Liam Sheedy, Bubbles O’Dwyer, Mark Landers, Anthony Daly, TJ Ryan and Brendan Cummins.

Organisers say the event will offer attendees a rare opportunity to hear insights from former players and managers with extensive experience at inter-county level.

The panel is expected to reflect on the evolving shape of the championship, drawing on personal experience from the sideline and the heart of the action on the field.

The preview night will take place at Irwin’s Yard, with proceedings beginning at 8pm. Tickets are priced at 20 euro and are available directly from the venue. Demand is expected to be strong, with hurling fans encouraged to secure tickets in advance.
