Residents and car owners in Cappawhite are being urged to take extra precautions after several cars were broken into overnight in the locality.

The warning was shared on the Tipp Town Facebook page, where locals were reminded to keep their vehicles locked and remain vigilant.
The news has sparked concern across social media, with many residents expressing fear for their safety. One local commented, “No place safe anymore,” reflecting growing unease in the community.
Other reports suggest the problem is not limited to Cappawhite. “They were out around Bansha as well in the new estate, tried getting into a few cars. They were caught on camera,” said another resident.
Similar incidents have been reported in Bruree, with one person stating on the Tipp Town Facebook page, “The same in Bruree, on Tuesday night, tried people's houses, just be alert.”
