Gardaí assist fire services at scene foul play not suspected and traffic is kept moving

LATEST: Vehicle goes up in flames on M8 Northbound in Tipperary last night

Gardaí were on hand to assist the fire service after a vehicle caught fire on the M8 Northbound in Cashel, Co. Tipperary, on Thursday evening.

The incident, which involved a vehicle on fire, took place at approximately 9:00pm. Fire crews responded promptly and managed to bring the blaze under control.

No injuries have been reported, and Gardaí have confirmed that no offences are currently suspected. They have also stated that foul play is not believed to be a factor in the incident.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area as emergency services continue to monitor the scene.
