The Cahir Tidy Towns and Meet & Train Groups took to the stage last Friday night in Cahir House Hotel with a Fashion Show to raise funds for a bus for Cahir Day Care Centre.
It turned out to be a fantastic success with the ballroom filled to capacity.
Frances Black was the very able compere on the night along with the Group Chairman Andy Moloney who added humour to the proceedings.
There was the very best of fashion on display from 'A Touch of Klasse’, 'ONLY’, ‘Sorrento’, ‘Off the Rails’ and ‘Mr Mister’ and all the clothes were worn so well by models from both the organising groups as well as other ladies and gents, so that the audience were enthralled by the catwalk all evening.
The Management Committee of Cahir Day Care Centre express their gratitude to the groups who organised the event, the models, Cahir House Hotel, the participating shops, raffle prize sponsors, cheese and wine sponsors, Tipp FM, Caoimhe Hickey, Geraldine Hickey and team, the Media that promoted the show, ‘Altec’ lights and sound and of course Frances Black for her loyal support.
They are delighted to announce that the balance needed to purchase the bus was raised on the night.
The lady who won the Tipp FM make over competition was Maureen O’Brien who was delighted at the result.
