The M7 Limerick/Dublin Rd northbound is now closed at J23 Moneygall following a crash. Motorists must divert via Dunkerrin and Roscrea to rejoin at J22 Roscrea. Gardai are warning motorists to take care as there are icy conditions in the area.
AARoadwatch reported at 8.45am this morning that Gardaí were en route to a crash on the M7 Limerick/Dublin Rd northbound between J23 Moneygall & J22 Roscrea. Diversions are now in place.
This follows a number of collisions yesterday on the M8 motorway near Cashel and Thurles.
Motorists are advised to show extra caution during the cold snap.
