On Thursday last Cashel Community School’s first year Business Studies pupils participated in an Enterprise competition in association with event sponsor Bank of Ireland.
First Year pupils worked in teams to research local businesses and to present their findings to their peers and teachers.
The school was delighted to welcome Tipperary senior hurler Seamus Callinan to present the prizes and address the pupils.
Seamus complimented the pupils on their teamwork, research and presentation skills. John Cooney of Bank of Ireland also commended Cashel CS on the excellent outreach work to local businesses and how they are embracing their call to citizenship in their local area.
