Scoil Mhuire Secondary School in Carrick-on-Suir came fifth in the Novice Inter-Schools Wexford Final in Wexford Equestrian Centre on Sunday last.
Ava Lynch won the Novice and Open Individual competitions and came second in the League. Katie Doyle was third in the ‘Novice Individual’ and was awarded second place in the Open Individual section. The other team members were Hazel Bardon and Ellie Mathias.
The team will compete in the national championships in Mullingar on April 15. PE teacher Claire Mulleady was a great support to the students competing in the equestrian events.
