A recording studio and band practice area is planned for the basement of the Place 4U centre at 25, Gladstone Street, Clonmel.
Place 4U has applied to Tipperary County Council for planning application for a change of use of the basement, which is currently used for storage.
Three years in the planning stage, the Place 4U community centre opened in August 2011 with the opening of the cafe in the former nuns chapel in Morton Street.
