Nenagh Courthouse
Alert Gardai prevented an individual in Nenagh Courthouse from attempting to pass a package to another man at last Friday's sitting of Nenagh Court.
The package contained cannabis.
A file is being prepared for the DPP in relation to the incident.
Meanwhile, local Gardai have made several seizures of illegal drugs in the Nenagh district over recent days.
Among them was the seizure of suspected cocaine and cannabis valued at €200 at Finnoe Road, Borrisokane, on Wednesday of last week.
Another cannabis seizure worth €120 was made in Borrisokane last Friday.
Gardaí found more cannabis in a search at Gortlandroe, Nenagh, last Monday.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
