Thurles Garda Station
A male was assaulted in the Ballynonty area of Thurles on Saturday the 5th. May between 22:00 & 22:30hrs. The injured party was struck with an implement and suffered injuries to the head. Gardai are appealing to the public – did anybody see what occurred, please contact 0504 25100
A burglary occurred on Monday the 7th. May 2018 in Killenaule where a local premises was entered. Nay information to Gardai at Thurles.
Over the Bank Holiday Weekend five people were arrested for driving under the influence in the Thurles Rea. All will appear in local courts.
Three cars were broken into in Killenaule between the 6th. & 7th. May 2018. Windows were broken and the cars were searched. Gardai area appealing for the publics assistance in an effort to solve these crimes.
With the arrival of good weather people are out and about walking & enjoying parks and walking trails. Please lock up your car. Secure all property safely and out of sight, preferably in the boot of the vehicle. Report any suspicious activities to Gardai.
