Gardai are investigating break-ins to a garden centre and nursery in Dundrum and a house near Tipperary Town on the same evening last week.
Burglars were disturbed while breaking into Dundrum Nurseries and Garden Centre in the village on Sunday, September 9. A Garda spokesman said the break-in occurred between 8pm and 9.30pm and a silver car was seen speeding from the scene.
The burglary of the house at Crogue near Tipperary Town was reported to gardai at 10.30pm the same night.
The Garda spokesman said they believe the two break-in's may have been carried out by the same criminals. ]
He appealed to anyone who saw suspicious activity around either area that night to contact Tipp Town Garda Station at (062) 51212.
