The Cashel Fire Station on Ladyswell Street, above, is to be replaced with a new facility in Wallers Lot
The construction of a new fire station in Cashel is underway.
The over €3.1 million project includes three quality bays at the Wallers Lot site near the M8.
The design team for the project is led by EML Architects with offices in Limerick and Dublin.
The Tipperary Fire and Rescue Service says this facility will be a fantastic addition to the community and the service.
Cashel-based Cllr Declan Burgess warmly welcomes the progress made on this development.
“This project will deliver a state-of-the-art facility that will support the fine work carried out by the Cashel Fire Service personnel and management. This three bay Fire Station in Cashel on the Wallers Lot site will enhance and enable Cashel Fire Service to continue to protect us into the future,” said Cllr Burgess.
“It is expected to be completed in September 2023 and I look forward to seeing this long-awaited project delivered for the people of Cashel and surrounds,” added Fine Gael’s Cllr Burgess.
