Nenagh Walking Club is travelling to scenic Glendalough this weekend
Congratulations to our club members who completed St Declan’s Way over the past week. Many thanks to Pat for organising this event.
This coming weekend many of our members will be setting off to Glenmalure, county Wicklow, for a much anticipated weekend of walking.
On Friday, Margaret will lead us on a 3.5-hour walk on Djouce in the Sallygap.
On Saturday, Margaret will lead a group up Lugnaquilla, at a height of 925 metres and 6.5 hours duration. There will be an alternative walk for those not venturing up Lugnaquilla.
On Sunday, Glendalough Spinc loop will be on offer for those with any energy left! This is a beautiful walk on the ancient monastic site of Glendalough, which will be led by Caitriona.
We wish all our members the very best of luck as they set out on these beautiful walks in the coming days.
