Pádraic Maher of Thurles Sarsfields in action against Liam McGrath of Loughmore/Castleiney in 2021
The fixtures have been made for the upcoming Centenary Agri mid Tipperary senior hurling championship which takes place before the commencement of the county championships.
As always it will be keenly contested but more so than ever this year as it offers a lifeline to teams who might not qualify for the knockout stages of the county championship through their groups.
The winner of the divisional finals in Tipperary will be guaranteed a knockout place in the Tipperary club championship but of course the honour of divisional glory is craved so much in itself.
The divisional championships this year in mid Tipperary will be defended by JK Brackens in hurling and football after their fantastic displays last year where they secured an historic double.
They will begin their defence of their hurling title with a mouthwatering fixture on July 9th against Thurles Sarsfields in The Ragg at 6.30pm while earlier the same day Drom Inch and Loughmore Castleiney will meet in Templetuohy at 1.30pm.
On the previous day, Holycross Ballycahill and Moycarkey Borris meet in Boherlahan at 3.30pm. All in all it promises to be an exciting weekend of action.
Upperchurch Drombane received a bye to the Semi finals and it will be an open draw to see who meets who at that stage of the competition.
