Portlaoise Train Station
The train line between Thurles and Portlaoise was closed earlier today due to a tragic incident on the train line.
There was a fatal incident on the line this morning on the train line which passes through Tipperary however services have now resumed on the line.
Irish Rail has said that services have now resumed on the main line between the main cities going from Heuston to Kent Station in Cork, and also in the opposite direction from Cork to Dublin.
Despite the earlier delays a full schedule is expected to be fully operational again this afternoon.
