Unexpectedly, surrounded by her family at Tipperary University Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Nodlaig and Patrick Murray (Charleville, Co Cork).

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Eddie, daughters Susan, Nodlaig and Julie, sisters Nodlaig and Ruth, brothers Michael and John, sons-in-law Mark, Neil and Paul, grandchildren Helen, Amy, Kate, Jack, Alma and Orla, sister-in-law Helen, brother-in-law Michael, relatives, neighbours, past pupils of the Guardian Angels Pre-School Thurles and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Thursday, 28th September, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, on Friday, 29th September, at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Holycross Abbey Cemetery, Thurles (E41PH01). 

Joseph O'Donnell
Marian Terrace, Clonmel, Tipperary / Fethard, Tipperary

The death has occurred of Joseph O’Donnell, Marian Terrace, Clonmel and formerly The Green, Fethard, Co. Tipperary. Joe (in his 94th year), passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening in the care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. 

Predeceased by his wife Brigid he will be sadly missed by his loving family Michael, Mary, Tony, Brian and Margaret, grandchildren Luke, Mollie, Kathy, Lily, Joe, Jack and Hugo, son-in-law Richard, daughters-in-law Pat and Elaine, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Thursday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.  Removal on Friday to Ss. Peter & Paul’s Church.  Funeral Mass on arrival at 1.00pm.  Burial will take place afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery.

Cork Road, Newport, Tipperary / Lisnagry, Limerick

McCarthy, Ann (nee McDonnell), Cork Road, Newport, Co. Tipperary and Annagh, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick, 26th September 2023, peacefully, at the University Hospital, Limerick, in the presence of her loving family. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Claire, Monica and Christina, brothers Patrick and John, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, relatives and friends. 

Reposing at Meehan's Funeral Home, Newport, on Thursday, 28th September, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Arriving on Friday 29th to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Newport, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Rockvale Cemetery, Newport.

John Joe McCarthy
Ballicarrido, Newtown, Nenagh, Tipperary / Portroe, Tipperary

John Joe McCarthy, Ballycarrido, Newtown, Nenagh, September 27th 2023, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Nenagh Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Nora, his brother Paul and his sisters Julia and Bridie.

Deeply regretted by his siblings Nan (Kelly), Pat (Dartford, U.K.), Josie (Skerritt) (Ennistymon) and Maureen (Horrigan), he will be hugely missed and fondly remembered by his many adoring nieces, and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins, relatives, neighbours, friends and his loyal companion Max.

Reposing on Thursday at his home from 4pm until 7pm. Funeral arriving on Friday to St. Mary's Church, Portroe, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Youghalarra Cemetery. 

John (Johnny) Keogh
Benedine, Nenagh, Tipperary / Cloughjordan, Tipperary

Late of Ballygibbon, Cloughjordan. Peacefully on Sept 27th surrounded by his family in the care of the staff at Milford Hospice.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Olive, parents Margaret & Jim and brothers Mackey & Denis. Will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Majella & Valerie (Grace), son in law Ray, grandchildren Aimee, Darragh, Tom & Conor, brothers Connie & Bunny, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces and nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Ryans Funeral Home, Nenagh this Thursday from 5 o'c to 7 o'c. His remains will arrive at Kilruane Church on Friday for Requiem mass at 12 o'clock, ollowed by burial in Ballygibbon Graveyard.

Mary Gleeson, Glasnevin, Dublin. Formerly of Ballyroan, Borrisoleigh, Tipperary. September 16th 2023. Beloved daughter of the late Mary and James Gleeson. Predeceased by her brothers Jack and Jimmy, sister, Margaret, brothers-in-law Peter Ryan and Thomas Butler, niece Mary Shanahan.

Mary will be sadly missed by her daughters Djasofpha Ward and Christina Gleeson their father Hashim Din, grandchildren Alex, Rebecca, Caitlin and David Ward, son-in-law David, sisters, Kathleen Butler and Breda Ryan, brother Murty Gleeson, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Kennedy's Funeral Home (E41 VX81) on Friday from 5pm. with removal at 7pm. to the Sacred Heart Church, Borrisoleigh. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am. followed by interment in Drom New Cemetery.

Sadly missed by his daughter Brenda, son John, grandchildren Catherine, Ciara, Colleen, Jack, Megan and great-grandson Lucas, sister Nora Lee, brother Pat, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. 

Reposing at O'Connell's Funeral Home, Killenaule, E41 HH66, this Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm.  Arriving at St. Mary's Church, Killenaule, at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11.30am, followed by burial in Ballinure Cemetery.

Peacefully in the tender care of the nursing staff at Rathkeevan Nursing Home, Clonmel. 27th September 2023. Lelia, sadly missed and never to be forgotten by her loving family, son Eanna, brother Paddy, sister-in-law, Enna's partner Kristin, grandchildren Alex, Tadhg and Enna junior, nieces, nephews, extended family and her many friends.

Reposing at Fennessy's Funeral Home this Friday evening from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock with removal on Saturday morning to St.Mary's Church, Irishtown for requiem mass on arrival at 12 noon followed by interment in St.Patrick's Cemetery.

September 28th 2023, peacefull,y in the loving care of all the Staff at Tír na nÓg, Our Lady’s Hospital.  Michael, beloved father-in-law of the late John Walsh. 

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Josephine, family Michael, Bríd, Joan, James, Edmund, Marie, Edel and Ann-Marie, daughters-in-law Julie, Rachel and Mary, sons-in-law Alden and Noel, his 26 grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. 

Reposing at Devitt’s Funeral Home this Friday evening 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday in St. John the Baptist Church, Cashel, at 12.00 noon followed by Burial in Cormac’s Cemetery.

Clonbealy formerly of Cork Road, Newport, Tipperary

O'leary, Matthew, 37 Clonbealy, Newport and (formerly of Cork Road, Newport) Co. Tipperary. It is with deep sadness that the O'Leary family share the news of Matt's sudden death on 26th September 2023. 

Predeceased by his brother John and sister Joan Larkin.   Sadly missed and treasured by his daughters Léna and Noreen, brothers and sister Frank, Noreen, Gerard and Paul, sisters in law Anne and Barbara, brother in law Mike, his loving companion Isabelle, nieces and nephews, extended family both here and in America, neighbours and good friends.

Mary Mangan, (nee Maher), formerly of Tullaheady, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, September 27th 2023, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Ashlawn Nursing Home, Nenagh. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank, parents Denis and Mary Kate Maher, brothers Pat and Seamus and her brother-in-law Liam.

Sadly missed by her sibling, Breda, Anne, Eileen and Denis, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, relatives, her special friend Sr. Hyacinth Butler, good neighbours and friends.

Funeral arriving on Saturday to St. Mary of the Rosary Church, Nenagh, for Funeral Mass, at 11am, followed by burial in Lisboney Cemetery.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Terry, his daughters Julie, Cathy and Anna, step daughter Genevieve, step son Enda, sons in law, sister Joan, sister in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Friday in Treacy's Funeral Home, Shinrone (R42 E125), from 7 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Funeral service on Saturday in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 1 o'clock, followed by cremation.

Redmond Burke, Summerhill Drive and late of 14 O’Connell Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. Died peacefully, on 27th September 2023, surround by his loving family in Tipperary University Hospital. (Predeceased by his brothers John and Adrian). 

Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters  Carole and Anne Marie, sister Mary, sons-in-law Alan and Alan, grandchildren Jessie, Ally, Robyn, Jack, Abby and Ben, nieces Sarah, Deirdre and  Eve, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law.

Reposing at O’Donoghue’s Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, the 29th of September. Redmond’s Funeral Mass will take place at 1pm on Saturday, the 30th of September, at S.S. Peter and Paul's Church, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
