A very special weekend of poetry and music coming up in Tipperary

The poetry of Thurles-born poet, Dennis O’Driscoll (1954-2012) is celebrated at the Circling the Square Festival, named after the title of Dennis’s memorable essay about growing up in the town.

A fine array of poets from all over the country, complemented by fabulous local songsters and musicians, will serve up a feast of entertainment throughout the weekend over three events.

Among those reading will be Stephen James Smith, Eleanor Hooker, Molly Twomey, Anne Tannam, Emily Cullen and Nithy Kasa and many others. Advance tickets for all shows are available online at www.thesourceartscentre.ie - or by phone from the Box office on 0504 90204.

Friday and Saturday, October 20-21 . Tickets €10 per event. Weekend tickets available.
