The sponge like fields are forcing venue changes in Tipperary as the championships reach the closing stages in many grades.
Tonight (Wednesday) the FBD Insurance - County Tipperary Junior B Hurling Championship (Tim Maher Cup)
Quarter Final takes place in Clonoulty at 8pm when Knockshegowna play Cappawhite.
On Saturday (28-10-2023) the FBD Insurance - County Tipperary Junior B Football Championship Quarter Finals double header takes place now at Fethard Town Park, 3G All Weather Pitch.
The teams, in search of the Dr Marsh Cup, go into action from 2.30pm when Clonmel Commercials play Moyne/Templetuohy with Paddy Ivors in the centre.
At the same venue at 4pm it is Upperchurch-Drombane who take on Kilsheelan-Kilcash with Paddy Russell the referee.
On Sunday (29-10-2023) the FBD Insurance - County Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship Final Replay will go ahead in Thurles.
The Dan Breen Cup will be collected after Kildangan play Thurles Sarsfields. The action starts at 3pm with John Mc Cormack refereeing.
Finally on the Bank Holiday Monday - the 30-10-2023 - the County Tipperary Junior B Hurling Championship Semi Final takes place at Littleton at 2pm. It will be Cappawhite Or Knockshegownam taking on Carrick Swan as they go looking to win the Tim Maher Cup.
