Another eagerly-awaited concert by Frank McNamara in Tipperary church

Having performed a sold-out concert at the same venue last month, conductor and composer Frank McNamara returns to Old St Mary’s Church in Clonmel next Thursday, December 14 at 9pm to perform another candlelit concert.

The Christmas Classics concert will feature piano music performed by Frank, who is bringing two surprise guests, a soprano and a celebrated violinist.

Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite.ie and it’s sure to be another sold-out concert.

Early booking is advised and will attract a €5 discount by using the promo code Tipp if you book early enough.

The church was filled to capacity on November 18, when a delighted audience was treated to a fabulous concert by Frank McNamara.

The Chopin by Candlelight concert, performed totally by candlelight, captivated the audience for over an hour.

Music included Ballade no 3 in A flat major, which was particularly impressive played in typical Chopin mood.

The favourite by far was the well-known and much loved Nocturne in C sharp minor.

This was an enchanting performance, with music played to a much appreciative audience.
