Nenagh CBS boss delighted with players after a dramatic late win in Cappamore

Excitement was certainly not in short supply in the Limerick venue with both Nenagh and Charleville serving up another tight encounter and definitely an upgrade in the drama stakes.

O’Donnell has been involved in the school hurling at Nenagh CBS for quite some time and he had this to say in his post-match reaction.

“We started very well the last day and I thought that we were a little bit edgy today. Charleville were so sharp early on. They cleaned us off really in the first quarter.

“We set up slightly different for the second half. We were a bit lax during the first half. We tightened up a lot on their puck outs for the second half,“ he finished.
