Three players to make league debuts in Tipperary team named to face Westmeath

Three players will make their league debuts for Tipperary against Westmeath this Saturday evening in round three of the 2024 National Hurling League on Saturday next at 4 pm in FBD Semple Stadium.

In total, 14 changes to the side defeated Galway two weekends previous with Seamus Kennedy lining up as the only player retained while the St Mary's man will captain the side also.

There are welcomed returns to the lineup for experienced players in the form of Noel McGrath, Jason Forde, and Dan McCormack who are making their first appearances in the league, while Brian McGrath returns from a short injury and straight into the half-back line.

David Kelly, Sean Hayes, and recent Fitzgibbon Cup winner Cathal Quinn will make their first league appearances at senior level for Tipperary in what is a very experimental line-up from Liam Cahill and his management team.
