The prize-giving ceremony for the Moycarkey-Borris Saint Patrick’s Day parade was held in Darmody's Bar in Littleton on Saturday, March 23.

Parade chairman Cllr Sean Ryan thanked everyone who supported the parade over the past 28 years and thanked the sponsors for all their generosity. Music on the night was provided by Tipperary hurling legend Festy Kerwick.

This year’s overall winner was Darmodys Bar with Clonoulty Rossmore Vintage coming second overall.

The Pat Houlihan Award was won by Thurles Lions Club in recognition of the huge work done for the Ukrainian community at the Moycarkey-Borris Community and Sports Centre in Littleton and at the Stanicks Homes in Thurles.

A special award was presented by Donie Scally in recognition of his late wife Sadie.
