Rating: 9/10
One of his most incredible games in a Tipperary shirt, and considering some of the games he has played over the years, that is the biggest compliment I can give.
He played the captain's role at the heart of the defence and it was a joy to watch his ability to win primary possession - high or low - and his possession stats were off the scale; hitting two points to boot.
Centre back is the place for Maher and after this showing, there are few better in Ireland when on form.
