Moycarkey-Borris played well at the Michael Hogan 'Festival of Football' at the weekend

Congratulations to the Moycarkey Borris U11 footballers who won Group 2 Division 1 of the Michael Hogan Football Festival in Toomevara last Saturday morning.

They played some excellent football beating Toomevara , Fethard and Kiladangan in the group stages before accounting for Nenagh in the Division 1 final. 

The Moycarkey Borris GAA club had a number of activities over recent days. Here is their club notes: 

Spring Clean: The club will hold a spring clean on Saturday, May 25 th from 9am. All support is greatly appreciated!

Junior Hurling Results: Sign On Templemore Division One Hurling League Semi-Final Result – Moycarkey Borris 1-28 Holycross Ballycahill 3-19 on 18/05/2024.

Templetuohy Bus and Cab Hire Division 3 League Semi-Final Result - Moycarkey Borris 1-18 JK Brackens 2-18 on 17/05/2024.

Juvenile Club: Congratulations to our U15 Team who were crowned Mid U15B Football Champions defeating Upperchurch Drombane on 13/05/2024. Captain Tomas Leahy picked up the trophy with Sean Lanphier taking the Man of the Match Award.

Congratulations to our under 11 hurlers who have qualified for the Community Games County Final on 1st of June in Fethard. This comes after a hard fought win in the North Final in Drombane against Upperchurch Drombane last Thursday.

Well done to Cillian Doran who played as part of the Tipperary Celtic Challenge Team in their Semi-Final at the weekend.

Moycarkey Borris Camogie and Ladies Football Club: Well done to Amy Callanan and Emma O’Sullivan who were part of the Tipperary Intermediate Camogie Panel who defeated Kerry last Saturday to win the Munster Final.

Golf Classic: SAVE THE DATE - Moycarkey Borris GAA Club 2024 Golf Classic will take place on June 28th and 29th in Thurles Golf Club. Details on tee times on our website.
