Commuters in Thurles Town will have to plan ahead as a busy road near Liberty Square is set to be closed next weekend.
The Tipperary County Council has announced it will close Emmett Street and Thomond Road in Thurles from midnight on July 6th until July 8th, in order to facilitate foot traffic for the Liberty Music Festival.
The Council has advised that traffic travelling north on the N62 will be diverted to Liberty Square to join the N75 east and continue their journey.
Traffic Travelling west on the N75 will be diverted into Liberty Square turning left onto the N62 and continuing their journey.
