Thomond becomes a concert venue this July.
The concert season is in full swing and the road between Tipperary and Doon as well as between Newport and the Mackey Roundabout will be exremely over the coming weeks with Tipperary people flocking to Limerick to three high profile concerts at Thomond Park.
Snow Patrol, Paulo Nutini and Liam Gallagher are all playing on midweek nights so the roads will be highly busy all afternoon and evening. Ahead of the concert, the organisers have released the following information to ensure everything runs smoothly over the festive period.
Have a read of these if you are going along to the concerts:
TRANSPORT:
Plan and book your return travel arrangements in advance allowing2 hours travel time to and from the venue. As traffic and parking delays are inevitable you are strongly encouraged to walk, use public transport and private coach services.
